CMC was established in 1996 through a smart partnership between ARY Venture Sdn Bhd and Nippon-Comsys Corporation, Japan. Today, CMC Group has grown to become a leading integrated services and solutions provider for the Public Infrastructure, Info-communication, Power and Energy sectors. The Group has over 20 years of experience in providing comprehensive, multi-disciplined project management services to cover the whole Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning (EPCC) spectrum.
With a highly skilled and technically capable multinational workforce and strong project management capabilities, the Group today has a regional presence in Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Philippines, Japan, Saudi Arabia and Vietnam.
CMC Group’s involvement in the Railway industry began in 1996 and specialises in railway-related technology within the sphere of Light Rail Transit (LRT), Mass Rapit Transit (MRT), monorail and mainline intercity rail. With these experiences, we are able to assist and support government-led public infrastructure initiatives and also create employment opportunities to the new generation of railway engineers.
CMC Group’s locally developed talents and services has seen us acquire our first railway systems work project outside of Malaysia, with the telecommunication integration project for the Ho Chi Minh City Urban Railway System (Line 1), Vietnam Metro Line Project. Since then, we have also secured the system design and integration works in Algeria.
While increasing its overseas order book, CMC Group remains focus on the domestic market by pursuing local jobs and other public transportation projects. At the same time, CMC Group has embarked on developing intelligent public transportation system solutions to cater for digitalisation and technology trends in the industry.
