DATO' ABDUL RAHMAN YUSOF

Chairman

Dato’ Abdul Rahman Yusof set up CMC back in 1996 with a joint venture with Nippon Comsys Corporation of Japan. Dato’ Rahman led the company to deliver total telecommunication packages for the Rawang-Ipoh double track project and is currently the leader for the Konsortium CMC-COLAS-UNIWAY in delivering the Kelana Jaya LRT Line extension project. Prior to this Dato’ Rahman was the GM for Sapura Transportation and Uniphone.

 

Dato' Rahman is a Chartered Engineer and Fellow of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), London, VP of the Malaysian Institute of Directors, a member of the Malaysian American Society and an Alumni of Stanford University California, USA. Dato’ Rahman graduated with a BSc in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen, UK.

DATIN ADILAH ABDULLAH
Executive Director

Datin Adilah was the General Manager (“GM”) for Telekom Malaysia, involving customer care service, Domestic Carrier services, MBG shared operations and R&D operations. 

Datin Adilah holds an MBA from Multimedia University, Malaysia and a BSc in Electrical Engineering from Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen, UK. 

NAZATUL NAJLA ABDUL RAHMAN
Director

Nazatul Najla Dato' Hj Abdul Rahman graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Retail Management from Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen Scotland. She also holds a Diploma in Fashion & Retail Design from LimKokWing University, Malaysia.


She has extensive experience in the field of corporate management. She is the Director of Corporate Affairs at CMC Engineering Sdn Bhd, who directly manages the corporate planning departments, responsible for providing recommendations and providing strategic planning, marketing and branding including managing all aspects of employee relations and development.


Before holding the position of Director of Corporate Affairs at CMC, she was the Head of the Department in the Business Technology Division. She has served as a Talent Management Assistant at Media Prima Bhd.

She also holds positions on the Board of Directors at CMC Group and Women In Rail Malaysia Berhad.

HAZWAN ALIF ABDUL RAHMAN
Chief Executive Officer

 

Hazwan Alif Abdul Rahman is CEO of CMC Group, a system technology solutions provider in public infrastructure, info-communication and power and energy industries. CMC has successfully completed various railway projects including but not limited to KTM Double Track Rawang-Ipoh’s Communications System and LRT Kelana Jaya and Ampang Line Extension
Project’s System Works. CMC is currently delivering the LRT3 Bandar Utama – Johan Setia’s Power Supply & Distribution System and Ho Chi Minh City Urban Railway Line 1’s Communications System.

Hazwan has spearheaded various human capital development initiatives in the Malaysian railway industry. CMC was the first industry partner to TERAJU for the Yayasan Peneraju Railway Graduate Training Programme which has successfully produced signalling engineers ready to work in the industry. Hazwan is a founding member of the Institution of Railway Signal Engineers (IRSE) Malaysian Section and he now serves as the Honorary Treasurer and Committee Member of the Board.

CMC is a founding member of Malaysian Rail Consortium (MARIC). Hazwan actively supports the consolidation of Malaysian railway players through MARIC and actively champions Malaysian railway capabilities in overseas market. CMC is a recipient of the MATRADE Export Award 2018 which testifies CMC’s commitment towards exporting Malaysian railway capabilities in the overseas market.


Hazwan joined CMC as the Head of Strategic Development and focused on business strategy development and execution. He was also responsible for identifying opportunities for the Group’s overseas expansions. Today, CMC operates namely in Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, Japan and Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Hazwan played a key role in the successful listing of CMC Infocomm Limited (now CMC Group’s related company) on the Singapore Exchange and served as its Executive Director between March 2015 and October 2016.

Hazwan is a Chartered Accountant by profession and began his career with KPMG in London, UK and then with EY in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia where he served a portfolio of clients including Islamic and conventional banks, asset management firms and unit trust funds. Hazwan graduated with a BSc (Hons) Economics degree from The University of Warwick, UK. He is an Associate of The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), an Affiliate Member of The Institution of Railway Signal Engineers.
